About

Hi, my name is Sally and I am qualified Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist. I trained at one of the
UK's leading colleges Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork qualifying in 2017.

I have always been interested in how the body works and moves. I have witnessed first hand the benefits
regular massage can have. Also the benefits of movement.

That is why I chose to be a massage therapist. But I haven't  always been a massage therapist.

I began my career as a dancer, studying contemporary dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, until I had to give
up the dream of becoming a professional dancer due to injury. I retrained as a theatre designer and later as an
arts manager. I worked in the dance sector for over thirty years co-founding a professional touring company, where I was co-creator, designer and rehearsal director and a community dance development organisation, Dance Blast. Here I was artistic director for over 25 years and for many of those years also dance tutor. I left in December 2023, the organisation is still a thriving, an achievement I am hugely proud of. I have a MA in arts management from Royal College of Music and Drama.

In 2021 I  qualified as a certified Oncology massage therapist. It is very special to be able to support people at a very vulnerable time and to help ease the discomfort and anxiety of coping with cancer.

As well as having a busy home massage practice I work one day a week in a residential care home treating older people with a range of health conditions including dementia. All have life stories to tell and It's an honour to treat and chat to them.

I teach weekly movement sessions at Move More Fitness a local gym in Hotwells, being part of and helping to create a community is very dear  to me.

I have recently embarked on a Yoga 200hrs teacher training course, which I am loving.

I am also percussionist in a busy local band, I play washboard and suitcase kick-drum. I have a gorgeous black Labrador called Grace and two pretty amazing grown up children. I am married to a musician, we gig together often as Blind Justice Page.
