Hello and Welcome

I have always been interested in how the body works and moves. I have witnessed first hand the benefits of treatment and regular massage.

That is why I chose to be a massage therapist. But I haven't  always been a massage therapist.

I began my career as a dancer, studying contemporary dance at Trinity Laban  Conservatoire, until I had to give up the dream of becoming a professional dancer due to injury. I retrained as a theatre designer and later as an arts manager. I have worked in the dance sector for many years co-founding two dance companies along the way. I have a MA in arts management from Royal College of Music and Drama.

I am a graduate of the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork the leading massage training college in the South West where I studied Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy. I worked as a therapist at Bristol Massage Therapy before concentrating on my own practice.

Most recently I qualified as a certified Oncology massage therapist. It is an absolute honour to be able to support people at a very vulnerable time and to help ease the discomfort and anxiety of coping with cancer.

I am a runner and percussionist, I play  washboard. I have a gorgeous black Labrador called Grace and two pretty amazing grown up children. I am married to a musician, we gig together often as Blind Justice Page.

I practice at Penny Brohn Centre in Pill and my home in Hotwells

I am a member of the Massage Training Institute

As a qualified and experienced massage therapist I offer remedial, sports, deep tissue, holistic massage. I also offer pregnancy massage available during all trimesters.

I can treat specific injuries, including sports injuries, repetitive strains and work-related problems. Or if you just want time to relax and unwind I can do that too.

Massage therapy works deep in the muscles, realigning the muscle fibres and connective tissue helping to increase vascularisation, which in turn facilitates the body’s natural healing process.

Treatment offers a profound level of relaxation, both physical and mental.

Massage can be used to treat a range of conditions. If any of the following relate to you massage can help:

Muscular pains | Aching, stiff joints | An injury that’s not getting better |Stress

"A regular gym-goer, I have been having weekly massages with Sally for several months now and the difference she has made to my physical and mental wellbeing is enormous. Sally is warm and welcoming as well as clearly expert and I felt immediately at ease in her lovely and comfortable treatment room. Her massages are gentle but firm, always respectful and responsive to my moods and my body’s requirements. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
