You don’t need to be flexible or experienced in yoga to benefit—this is a space for all bodies, all backgrounds, and all levels of experience.
The Venue

Abbots Leigh is a beautiful villages on the outskirts of Bristol with its own church, public house and village hall. Clifton Village is about two miles away across Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s world famous Suspension Bridge and the city centre only three and a half miles. Junction 19 of the M5 gives access to the UK motorway network in less than three miles and Bristol International Airport is about nine miles. A variety of beautiful walks including Abbots Pool and the Avon Gorge (a designated area of outstanding natural beauty) are on offer quite literally from the doorstep.
You can catch the X4 bus from the city which stops 2 mins walk from the venue. There is some parking opposite the venue and across the main road towards Abbots Leigh Pool (Please car share where possible (I will help to arrange that if required)

Rooted Soul is a nourishing half-day retreat designed to restore balance in body and mind. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this afternoon offers space to breathe, move, and simply be.

🌿 What to Expect:
🧘♀️ Hatha Yoga
We’ll begin with an uplifting Hatha yoga session to awaken and energise the body. Expect a blend of flowing movement and grounding stillness, suitable for all levels.
✨ Self-Care Workshop
Learn practical tools and insights to support your everyday wellbeing. This gentle, reflective session is designed to empower you with simple practices for self-kindness and holistic health. Example self care: self massage, fascial release techniques, manual lymphatic drainage, Gua Sha facial massage.
🌙 Yin Yoga
Sink into slow, passive poses held for several minutes, targeting the deeper layers of connective tissue. Yin yoga invites stillness and introspection—an opportunity to soften and listen to your body’s quiet wisdom.
🌸 Restorative Yoga
End your afternoon with a deeply nurturing restorative yoga practice. Using an array of props bolsters, blankets, blocks, and eye pillows, you’ll settle into gentle postures designed to release tension and calm the nervous system. This is your space for true rest.
☕ Tea & Homemade Cake
Enjoy time to connect with others or simply relax with a warm cup of tea and a slice of delicious homemade cake.Before you reenter the world.Tea and snacka availbel throughout the afternnon.
